BACKGROUND
Shreya has lived in Mumbai, Bangalore and most recently, Kolkata. She has a Bachelors of Technology from IIEST Shibpur, and a Masters of Technology from IIT Kanpur, both in Aerospace Engineering. She worked as a product design Engineer at Eaton India Innovation Centre, Pune before commencing her PhD studies.
RESEARCH
Shreya is currently working on evaluating and reducing the environmental impacts of near-future supersonic aircraft. She is particularly interested in the role aerosols in the emissions play in terms of changes in climate and air quality. The economic and policy implications of her work are exciting to her.
