Nicholas Wilde

Research Assistant

My name is Nick Wilde. I graduated from the US Military Academy at West Point, NY in 2018 with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering and an active duty commission into the US Army. Upon the completion of my Master’s at MIT, I will continue my service as a UH-60 MEDEVAC pilot.

My thesis work focuses on developing electroaerodynamic (EAD) propulsion technology for use in aircraft. My emphasis is on the technology’s aerodynamic considerations and integration into air vehicles, with planned test flights of an efficient, near-silent UAV in 2020.
