BACKGROUND
I’m a native of McKinney, Texas and a Master’s candidate at MIT in the department of Aeronautics and Astronautics. In 2020 I graduated with a B.S. in Civil Engineering from the United States Military Academy. I’m currently a 2nd Lieutenant in the U.S. Army, serving as an Aviation officer. In my spare time I enjoy hiking, skiing, rowing, competing in triathlons, and searching for good barbecue in Boston.
RESEARCH
I joined LAE in August 2020 as a Research Assistant for the ElectroAeroDynamic (EAD) aircraft project. My research focus is on structural modeling and designing the airframe with which the EAD thrusters will be integrated. I’m also a Military Fellow at MIT Lincoln Laboratory where my research is focused on using machine learning to improve space domain awareness.
