BACKGROUND

I’m originally from Shanghai, China, but spent most of my upbringing in the Nashville and Chicago areas. Prior to joining LAE, I received a BS in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and worked on numerical methods in computational fluid dynamics as an undergraduate researcher. In my free time, I enjoy travel, anime, video games, trying new foods, and learning various things not related to my research.

 

RESEARCH

I’m the lead developer of LAE’s contrail model, APCEMM, and am currently working on comparing outputs of contrail models to LIDAR observations.
