Joyce has been at MIT in the AeroAstro Department for 11 years, providing faculty support in terms of promotion cases, faculty search, event planning, and more.  Prior to MIT, Joyce worked in the Physics and Chemistry Departments at Boston College.  Excited to join LAE and ZIAA as the program coordinator, Joyce hopes to enable the group to do their best work, supporting their research through building networks and bridges, grant writing, event planning, and simply taking some of the administrative load off leadership. With a special affinity for working with students, Joyce invites all undergrads and grads in the lab to come to her with questions or problems, or even if they just need to talk!
