My name is Drew Weibel. I am a member of the advanced fuel’s team in the Laboratory for Aviation and the Environment. I received my B.S. in Aerospace and Mechanical Engineering from Case Western Reserve University. I am originally from Longmont, Colorado and am passionate developing solutions to keep our environment and our outdoors pristine for future generations.
As a member of the Laboratory for Aviation and the Environment, I am researching the potential for removing naphthalene from conventional jet fuels as a method of reducing aviation-based soot emissions. This research compliments both my interests in combustion and emission reduction technologies.
