I am from Ningbo, China, and live in London in the UK. I studied at the University of Cambridge, completing my B.A. and M.Eng. in Aerospace and Aerothermal Engineering in 2016. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Aeronautics and Astronautics at MIT; my research focuses on the application of electro-aerodynamic propulsion to aerospace systems. This technology could potentially yield silent, efficient, solid state electric propulsion systems for small aircraft and UAVs. Other research interests include aircraft design and optimisation, and space propulsion.
