I grew up in Milwaukee, Wisconsin and studied Mechanical Engineering and Physics at UW-Madison, where I researched low temperature thermal systems. My interests generally lie in areas where interesting physics are incorporated into engineering problems and am now working on electroaerodynamic propulsion for air breathing applications. We hope to demonstrate this propulsion system in a flying prototype and assess applications where it may be most advantageous.
