I am originally from Portland, Oregon. During my undergraduate years, I focused on combustion chemistry and fluid mechanics. I am now pursuing a master’s degree in Aeronautical Engineering, studying the life cycle greenhouse gas emissions of emerging biofuels technologies. My research aims to develop a life cycle inventory of different thermochemical pathways for converting biomass into liquid fuel. This will help stakeholders and policymakers make decisions based on the overall environmental and economic impacts of alternative jet fuels.
